Music and visual art go hand in hand. There’s a perfect marraige between a stimulation of the ears and the stimulation of the eyes. When paired together, photography and music dually create the most impactful and inspiring forms of art. My work is very music-adjacent; the majority of my personal projects are inspired by stimulating melodies and hypnotic voices, and the predominance of my bookings being for cover art and social content for songwriters and producers. I’ve sat in on many studio sessions of talented friends, learning the delicate process of composing — and have a deeper appreciation for the intricacies of building a song from scratch.
Recently I’ve been adopted by Wondaland Records as the press and personal photographer of Janelle Monae- capturing their life through the lens in music, fashion, and film spaces.
